The article substantially examines the title Anatomical studies of the bones and muscles for the use of artists, valuing some details about its elaboration and Flaxman’s original drawings, today in possession of the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Remarks have also been made on those recommendations about art anatomy gathered in the volume Lectures on sculpture, which collect a series of significant conferences given by the sculptor in the Royal Academy.
