Na antecâmara do romance pastoril: género e paródia na Menina e Moça de Bernardim Ribeiro
Keywords:
Menina e Moça, Bernardim Ribeiro, sentimental novel, bucolism, parodyAbstract
Starting from a survey of the bucolic code in Menina e Moça, this text aims to expose how the main work of Bernardim Ribeiro illustrates the process of disaggregation of literary genres which designes the novel as a genre in formation and, thus, defined by unstable boundaries. An understanding of the modern sense of parody, claimed by Bakhtin (1975) and Hutcheon (1985), allows us to suggest the presence of the mecanism of appropriation and change of established codes in the novel of Bernardim Ribeiro.
